Christmas Jumper Day 2017 at PolarSeal Tapes and Conversions

Posted Tue, 9th January 2018

Here at PolarSeal Tapes and Conversions we decided to raise money for Save the Children this year for Christmas jumper day 2017. In order to make a difference and support the future generation!

Why support Save the Children?

Because Save the Children contributes to changing the world for children through innovative work on the ground. As well as campaigning for change on key issues! A worthwhile cause for PolarSeal to Support.

Christmas jumper day was launched in 2012 as a fundraising campaign by Save the Children, encouraging those of us to ‘make the world better, by wearing a sweater’ at work or at school.

This years event took place on Friday 15th December, where individuals throw on a Christmas jumper at work or at school nationally. Not only to support this charitable cause but to also spread Christmas cheer. In a fun, quirky way but to also show support for a worthwhile cause.

Overall It was a superb day and an amazing, collective effort from all of the staff here! Where we were able to raise an incredible £747.60 for Save the Children surpassing our original target of £500.

A massive thanks to everyone who took part in helping us reach and exceed our target. Something we look forward to smashing next year!
