We asked our Design and Innovation manager, Pier Lambert about his thoughts on his time here so far at PolarSeal:
What is your role at PolarSeal?
My role at PolarSeal is Design & Innovation Manager, this involves leading the design activities of our own product ranges, supporting with customer (client) projects, and continuing to build the innovation pipeline.
How long have you been in the medical industry?
I have been working in the medical industry for the past 14 yeas over which time i have led the development and launch of innovative medical devices and managed medical device design processes, working in compliance with the latest standards and the Medical Device Regulations. I have worked globally on product introduction and running innovation workshops. Prior to this I worked in engineering consultancy.
Which aspect of your new role have you enjoyed the most so far?
The aspects I have enjoyed so far are getting involved in projects from day one, working with the engaged project teams and the friendly and open nature of everyone in the company.
What were your first impressions of polarseal and has that changed?
My first impressions were of a company focussed on people and making sure you can achieve your best work every day. These first impressions have only been re-enforced in my time with the company.
What are your first impressions of PolarSeal?
My first impressions of Polarseal are that they are a caring and successful organisation. The plants have a professional feel to them, both from a people and an aesthetic perspective.
What made you want to join the PolarSeal team?
There were a number of factors that made me want to join the PolarSeal team, namely the strong company culture, values that resonated with me, a strong focus on CSR and the ambitious and friendly team who are passionate about the continued growth and success of the company.
