About the role:

As our Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for delivering new revenue growth by effectively planning and executing solutions sales processes and activities focused on the assigned commercial market segment of PolarSeal’s customers
and prospects.

As our Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify new business opportunities, including markets, clients, partnerships or services
  • May need to travel oversees, visiting prospects/clients to further expand global presence
  • Create strategies to successfully reach new business opportunities
  • Build relationships with new clients, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address these needs
  • Maintain and develop relationships with current clients
  • Pitch to new and existing clients
  • Attend conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and stay up to date with new trends
  • Collaborate with marketing colleagues to help build and deliver strategic ABM campaigns
  • Nurture and develop scalable processes for growth-generating activity
  • Create development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections
  • Possess a strong understanding of the company’s offerings, the competition in the industry and positioning
  • Champion the use of Salesforce CRM to facilitate scalability
  • Manage, hire and train new team members for business development and account management
  • Have the career progression opportunity to become a global sales manager

Skills we are looking for in our Business Development Manager:

  • Strong successful personal business development history involved in account development, new business hunting and effective cross-selling to fully penetrate sales opportunities with existing and prospect accounts
  • Experience in the healthcare or medical device market as a service provider
  • Ability to personally execute the solutions business development process, developing new and building account relationships to consistently achieve and exceed business goals and results.
  • Leadership experience
  • Self-directed with the ability to effectively plan and document daily activities including appointments, customer call-backs, new contacts, prospect user calls, etc.
  • Plan a balanced mix of calls to ensure complete coverage of the global market and all opportunity types
  • Ability to effectively work in an agile work environment using a variety of communication tools to engage with Clients and Prospects with other PolarSeal resources.
  • Travel and Face to face meetings will be required as necessary
  • Proven use of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
